Walk In The Woods

During our walk in the woods, when we had reached our stand-still, Mr. Hahn decided to have a seat on the ground and take a break. At first i didn't think anything of it, I thought he was just resting. As a few moments went by, others joined him. Even though it seems completely natural when a few students decide to sit and rest, it seemed almost unnatural when the majority of my fellow classmates were mimicking Mr. Hahn by siting the same way and facing in the same direction. I didn't understand. Was I supposed to follow Mr. Hahn by having a seat on the ground? Or was I to remain standing? I then thought to myself, "well if people followed Mr. Hahn by sitting when he did, then maybe people would follow me by standing when i did."
